New Investor IQ Website Helps Gauge Startup Knowledge

What’s the best way to invest in a startup? And how much do you already know?

Early-stage entrepreneurs and their prospective investors can find out at InvestorIQ.org, a free curriculum developed by the Kauffman Foundation, the Angel Resource Institute and the Angel Capital Association.

InvestorIQ offers an instructional online video series that answers key questions about investing in a small business, as well as the opportunity to gauge one’s “Investor IQ” by taking a 15-question quiz.

“Financing startups is very risky business,” said Troy Knauss, angel investor and executive director of the Angel Resource Institute, in a release. “By providing knowledge about how successful investors operate, Investor IQ teaches best practices for potential investors and helps entrepreneurs understand what investors look for. Clarifying the approaches that have created winning ventures helps both groups prosper.”
