The Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City has just announced the finalists for this year’s Cornerstone Awards.
The awards pay tribute to companies and other organizations that are injecting new life into the region’s economy, whether that’s through job creation or retention efforts, construction or redevelopment.
This year’s winners will be revealed during a ceremony from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. May 20 at Union Station. (You can register for the event at this website.)
“The Cornerstone Awards were established by the EDC to recognize companies and organizations that contribute to the growth of Kansas City’s economy,” said Bob Langenkamp, EDC president and CEO. “These nominees have contributed outstanding growth and stability to our city and we enthusiastically congratulate them on their achievements.”
