Manathumaril Wins CelebrASIAN Entrepreneur of the Year

Manoj Joseph Manathumaril of Nuvento has been named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Kansas City.

He and this year’s other award winners will be saluted at the chamber’s 12th annual CelebrASIAN Award Gala on May 4 at the Sheraton Overland Park.

Nuvento specializes in business intelligence for a range of industries, including financial services, retail, construction, technology and more. Formed in 2007, the company is based in Lenexa. It has also previously landed on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing companies in America.

This year’s other honorees include:

Professinal of the Year: Attorney Peter Chung of Benton Lloyd and Chung LLP

Civic Leader of the Year: Barbara Cusick

Corporation of the Year: Bank of Blue Valley

Amy Chua, a Yale Law professor and the author of the bestselling book “Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother,” will be the featured speaker at this year’s CelebrASIAN gala.
