Lucky 13: Pipeline Introduces Its 2015 Class of Fellows

The Pipeline Entrepreneurial Fellowship has announced its 2015 class of 13 high-potential entrepreneurs, who will participate in a yearlong program of training, networking and mentoring.

This year’s class includes four entrepreneurs from the Kansas City metro:

  • Callie England, founder and CEO of Rawxies, a line of healthy snacks
  • Jill Minton, founder of t.Loft, which operates three eateries specializing in teas, juices and healthy food
  • Davide Rossi, co-founder and CEO of FitBark, a device that lets pet owners monitor their dogs’ health at all times
  • Laura Steward, CEO of LiveOn, an online service that lets users safeguard their photos, video and documents for future generations.

Though Pipeline is based here in Kansas City, the nonprofit’s coverage area includes Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.

The St. Louis area is represented by:

  • Lu Alleruzzo of Immunophotonics Inc., which is developing a cancer vaccine
  • Jeffry Harrison of RoverTown, an app that helps college students get discounts at local stores
  • Dan Lohman of Pushup Social, a service that lets customers quickly add a social network to their websites
  • Chris Motley of Better Weekdays, whose platform serves as a “dashboard for your career”

John Martens, who leads Wichita’s NMotion UAS, a provider of aerial drones for police and fire departments and other public safety agencies, and Aaron McKee, CEO of Manhattan’s Purple Wave Auction, a no-reserve auction site specializing in vehicles and heavy machinery, were the other Kansas-based fellows.

Three Nebraska entrepreneurs—Jennifer Amis of Statim, Dusty Reynolds of RaceNote and Mark Zmarzly of Hip Pocket—round out this year’s Pipeline class.
