KCSourceLink Plans Mobile ‘Office Hours’ in January

Starting in January, KCSourceLink will hit the road to meet face to face with entrepreneurs around the metro.

KCSourceLink—which helps clients connect with free or low-cost help—will establish traveling office hours from 1 to 4 p.m. every Wednesday at a different KCSourceLink resource partner’s location. No appointment is necessary for business owners to meet with KCSourceLink staff to ask questions, get advice and be referred to suitable resources.

“We’ve been talking with our KCSourceLink Resource Partners, and we think this will be a great way to bring the resources of the network to the entrepreneur, and to more actively promote our network of 230-plus service providers,” said Jenny Nepper, KCSourceLink network navigator, in a release.

There is no charge for the initial Wednesday meeting with a KCSourceLink staff member. Each business owner will leave with an individualized action plan and contacts for nonprofit, government and educational organizations whose business services are usually inexpensive or free.
