InnoTech Technology Conference Heads to KC on Nov. 19

The InnoTech Technology & Innovation Conference will come to Kansas City for the first time on Nov. 19 at the Overland Park Convention Center.

The daylong event will offer education, innovation, peer-to-peer networking and advanced technology and business solutions for IT professionals interested in connecting, sharing ideas and learning from each other.

One of the highlights will be a Women in Tech Summit, a special luncheon event designed for women in IT.

InnoTech’s keynote address will be delivered by Chris Kemp, former CTO of NASA, co-founder of Open Stack and CSO of Nebula, Inc., who will be speak about the history and future of cloud computing and what it means to your business.

There will be half-day and full-day tracks on mobility, cyber security, infrastructure, business intelligence/analytics and IT leadership.

Other topics and speakers will include:

  • “Vision on Technology and Future of Work,” featuring David Smith, president, SocialCare.
  • “Navigating Your Career: Embracing the Triumphs and Tribulations of Being a Woman in IT” with Vicki S. Irey, chief information officer, City of Overland Park; Karen Pennell, SVP, end user services, Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City ; Mary J. Miller, CIO, City of Kansas City, Mo.; and Kim Westerfield, project manager, Global IT, Garmin.
  • “Crucial Conversations” with Nancy Fry, president and founder, Dr. Nancy Fry, LLC.

More than 40 exhibitors will be in the hall from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. offering the latest products and solutions for the IT industry.
