ECCO Select Plans to Hire 96, Move to New HQ in KC

ECCO Select, a 25 Under 25® alumnus, plans to hire 96 employees and invest more than $1 million in a new headquarters at 4100 N. Mulberry Drive in Kansas City, North.

Gov. Jay Nixon visited Kansas City on July 17 for the announcement. The Missouri Department of Economic Development has put together an incentive package to help ECCO Select pay for the expansion, so long as the company meets targets for job creation and investment.

The IT staffing and consulting firm also has plans for international expansion.

“ECCO Select is pursuing an aggressive growth strategy, and with our headquarters here in Missouri, we’re in a great position to launch into new global markets,” ECCO Select President and CEO Jeanette Prenger said. “With strong technology infrastructure, a skilled talent pool and a supportive business environment, Kansas City provides all the necessary ingredients to grow our business internationally.”

The governor pointed to ECCO Select as an example of Missouri’s ability to attract and cultivate tech companies.

“Missouri is proud to be home base for ECCO Select, a thriving company that complements our state’s position as a hub for high-tech, high-paying jobs,” Gov. Nixon said. “Maintaining a business-friendly environment and creating next-generation IT jobs is a top priority for my administration, and it’s rewarding to see companies like ECCO Select recognize those advancements by reinvesting in Missouri communities.”

ECCO Select also has offices in St. Louis and the Washington, D.C., area.
