Dan Barker Joins Hint as VP of Marketing and Strategic Growth

Marketing and digital content company Hint has hired Dan Barker as vice president of marketing and strategic growth.

Barker, who previously led business development for Clickfarm, C3 and Liquid 9, hasn’t wasted any time in making an impact at Hint.

In Barker’s first month on the job, he came up with videos for the televised broadcast of the 2014 World Series pitting the Kansas City Royals against the San Francisco Giants. And he even appeared in one of the “Priceless Surprises” MasterCard TV commercials that he helped to develop with Royals great George Brett.

“I’m excited to join such a talented group of creative thought leaders,” Barker said of his new Hint colleagues in a release. “We’ve had so much to celebrate this season already, and with Hint there’s only more to come.”

Teri Rogers, president and CEO of Hint, wanted to work alongside Barker for nearly 10 years, “but our timing was always off,” she said. Needless to say, we’re off to a great start, with MasterCard selecting Dan to be featured in one of the World Series commercials we created for them. We couldn’t have planned a better welcome!”

Barker has formerly worked with such clients as Harley-Davidson, Procter & Gamble and Sonic. His addition to the Hint team is part of the company’s ongoing pledge to provide strategic, multimedia solutions for clients through broadcast and digital content, audience development, production and design services, and original programming and entertainment.

Hint’s roster of clients includes Ameritrade, Cerner, Dell, Hallmark, Puma, Sprint, MasterCard, McDonald’s, Nascar and PetSmart. For more information, go to hinthint.tv.
