“Negative people can’t wait for the year to end. Positive people can’t wait for the New Year to begin.” ~Brian Sullivan
So how do you see it? The way you answer says a lot about how you view things every day. Negative people often believe they are victims of circumstance and have no control over what happens to them. Unfortunately, once they can no longer blame 2011 for their tough times, they will quickly turn to 2012 with another “Here we go again…” attitude.
Positive people, on the other hand, believe they have control over most situations. And for those tough situations that occur in which they have no control, they simply accept it and get to work quickly on softening the blow.
So today, ask yourself this question, “Am I happy the old year is over or excited a new year has begun?” If you picked option two, congratulations. Because by looking forward to the opportunities that you will create and capture this year, you will have taken the first step to making 2012 your most famous year ever.
